I have yearned for the day when there is peace and understanding on this planet. The time has come for you to lay down your swords and live in peace. Let go of your judgments and differences. Let go of the ideals of what you believe to be true. Not everything is as it seems. It is time to live in peace. But peace doesn’t happen outside of you. It comes from within you.
Those of you with your religious differences fighting for a cause. Those causes do not matter as much as your ideas about them. Let them go. You are only fighting with yourself. You believe what you believe. But do you know for sure what you believe is the absolute truth?
It is time you lived with peace within your own household. How much fighting do you do within your own household because someone else doesn’t meet your own ideals?
How much turmoil do you express because you don’t meet your own ideals?
Why are your ideals so important to you? It is your ideals that are getting you into trouble. You are fighting for ideals that were set down before you and you don’t even know how or why. You carry on traditions that mattered to someone a long time ago but do they matter in the scheme of things?
It is you and your ideals that are keeping you in stress, maintaining you in anger, fighting against the flow, what is and not allowing you to just be and enjoy yourself on the planet as you should.
Could you imagine a world that lives in peace? What would it be like? You would feel safe for one. You would feel enough for another.
Peace, however, begins within. Trying to fight yourself or another for your causes only perpetuates the problem. It does not resolve it.
You need to take a stand and make a decision that you want peace in your life and you have to make the commitment to live in peace, express peace and cause the experience of peace to reign throughout your life.
Why leave it to someone outside of yourself to bring peace into your world and into your own life? Why not create it for yourself and your family and those that you care about?
Why perpetuate an idea of fighting for peace that will never succeed. If you want peace, you must choose peace. Fighting for peace doesn’t create it. It causes more violence. It’s only another form of struggle. Give up the struggle. Accept. Accept what is. Accept who you are. Relax. Be. Be yourself. Stop trying to be someone else or someone else’s ideals because that alone is not peaceful. Accepting yourself as you are is peaceful.
Start with yourself. How can you bring more peace into your world? Stop worrying about the world outside of yourself for a change. Think of yourself. Are you living peacefully? Are you treating others peacefully?
Do you honor yourself and others as you should? Are you imposing yourself on others trying to make others adhere to your standards of being? Why not allow them freedom to be themselves? Let go of your fears. There are many. Many more than you can imagine but you are too busy running around to realize them all. Stop. Be. Live in peace. Honor yourself and others. Live in peace and be an example of peace to others.
Peace be with you.
Jesus
